Chichester District Council v Secretary of State for Housing Communities and Local Government [2019] EWCA Civ 1640:  The Court of Appeal upheld the High Court’s decision (in turn upholding the Inspector’s decision) to grant planning permission despite the proposal’s non-compliance with with some of the NDP’s policy on the basis that notwithstanding the conflict with some of the policies, the proposal did not conflict with other policies.
